The man charged in an Oceanfront killing during College Beach Weekend in April was granted a rare release before trial Thursday.
Tevin Anyee Oliver, 21, of Locust Avenue in Hampton, was granted a $25,000 bond by retired Circuit Judge Edward W. Hanson Jr., who was filling in for judges away at a conference.

VIRGINIA BEACH — Cox High School wrestling coach Wayne Gibson has been cleared of any wrongdoing by Virginia Beach Child Protective Services, his attorney confirmed Tuesday.
He has been reinstated to his teaching position. That will resume Monday at 7 a.m., said his attorney, William H. “Happy” O’Brien, said Wednesday.

Virginia Beach, Va. – Parents of Cox High School students received a voicemail Friday evening from Principal Randi Riesbeck saying the school’s wrestling team will not compete in any postseason tournaments due to allegations of misconduct.
